Convert Your Unused Foreign Currency Into Gift Vouchers

TravelersBox Changi Airport 07a

Do you often come back from your travels with plenty of loose change in foreign currencies? And you don’t know what to do with them?

Now you can actually convert them into something useful right at Changi Airport. Just look out for a TravelersBox kiosk. Simply put your leftover currency, including bills and coins, into the machine and convert it into digital money in the form of e-gift cards or credits for use at merchants like iTunes, Starbucks or Grab. The list of participating partners is set to expand in the coming months.

You can also make monetary contributions to charities like the Changi Foundation that supports youth community efforts, or the Red Cross.

TravelersBox at a glance:
- There are 8 kiosks located at Terminal 1 and 3

- Currencies accepted: Singapore Dollar, Thai Baht, Australian Dollar, Chinese Renminbi, Indonesian Rupiah, Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, Philippine Peso, Malaysian Ringgit

- Merchant Partners: Amazon.ch, Amazon.jp, Facebook, Grab, iTunes, Lazada, Qoo10, Starbucks, Skype, Tokopedia, Viber, Changi Foundation

Some TravelersBox kiosks around the world can also deposit your coins and bills directly into online online accounts such as PayPal and Baidu. They’re available in Canada, Italy, Philippines, Georgia (Tbilisi), Israel and Turkey.

The kiosk charges a 7% rate, and you will receive the e-funds within 48 hours.
